Gulf News has always been, and still is, a pioneer in the publishing industry in the UAE.
Once again we set a trend by demonstrating the journalistic practice it strives for, to be of the very highest standards of honesty and transparency expected.
Today, for the first time in the Gulf, I take pride in publishing the Gulf News Ethics Policy. It is a guideline for the benefit of all our staff and readers.
In doing this we not only set out clearly what is expected of our journalists, but for our readers, and indeed all who come into contact with Gulf News, to understand our work practices.
Should you have any reason to believe any member of staff is not abiding to our Ethics Policy it must be brought to my attention so I can determine appropriate action.
By doing this, we are certain it again establishes Gulf News as the most credible and reliable newspaper in the region.
