Emaar Properties received good investor response for the sale of the second phase of The Springs - its waterfront villa community.
The company statement said the sales team at its Dubai Marina sales office is gearing up to handle the anticipated investor rush over the weekend.
Robert Booth, executive director (development), Emaar Properties said the company expected to see a big turnout of customers at its Dubai Marina sales office over the weekend.
"To meet this anticipated rush, we are following an all-hands-to-the-deck policy and have significantly increased our sales strength by bringing company employees from other departments onto the sales floor."
UAE and GCC national and expatriate investors have been thronging the company's Dubai Marina sales office, which is open seven days a week, from 10 am to 8 pm, since The Springs project first opened for sale on August 17.
The first phase of the project, which has been envisioned and master planned in Dubai's new growth corridor, comprising 1,388 villas was sold out within a few days. Due to the overwhelming demand, the company opened the second phase of the project for sale on August 21.
Booth attributed the success of The Springs waterfront villa project to the growing demand for quality residential real-estate by UAE and GCC national and expatriate purchasers alike.
"An indication of this sentiment is that most of those who have invested in The Springs are individual buyers who will actually reside along with their families in this beautiful waterfront community once it is complete in 18 months," he added.
The Springs will offer residents a living environment that will cater to virtually all their needs. It will feature villas in varying sizes and floor plans that incorporate the finest architectural styles and picturesque landscaping.
The project has also succeeded in setting a new benchmark in pricing for residential property in Dubai, with prices for a three-bedroom villa starting at Dh448,888.
In order to make the investment experience of its customers flexible, Emaar had recently announced a zero down payment booking option for The Greens and The Springs projects.
Under this offer, which is open for a limited period only, customers can choose and book their residential units immediately without paying a deposit upfront.
