Loft living, the urban lifestyle choice that has taken New York, Paris, Rome, Sydney and trendy areas around the City of London by storm, is being introduced to Dubai by Emaar Properties. The world's largest real estate company announced it would be selling The Lofts a series of double-storey apartments along the Burj Dubai Boulevard from today. The Lofts are the first properties along the Boulevard one of the features of the flagship Downtown Dubai Development to be put up for sale. Prospective buyers can visit the Downtown Living Presentation Centre in the Burj Dubai Development for more information. Situated within a three-tower complex of 27 to 30 storeys and raised from a six-storey podium, The Lofts offer views of the Burj Dubai Boulevard as well as the entire Burj Dubai development.
A total of 148 apartments are on offer. They are available as one- and two-bedroom units. Prices for a one bedroom unit start at Dh800,000. The emphasis throughout is on light and space, high ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows that are signature features of stylish apartments in European cities. "The Lofts are different from anything seen in Dubai," said Naaman Atallah, Emaar's director of sales. "Their buyers will be drawn from those who take a more individualistic approach to their lifestyles," Atallah said.
