Manila: Imelda Marcos, who earned both fame and notoriety for owning 3,000 pairs of shoes, may add another line of footwear to her fabled collection, her doctor said.
Personal physician Dr Joven Cuanang of the Saint Lukes' Medical Centre in suburban Quezon City said Imelda may be forced to wear "orthopaedic shoes" because of her current medical condition.
"Years of wearing ill-fitting shoes has taken its toll on Marcos," he said yesterday.
