Dixville Notch, New Hampshire: Voters went to polls in Dixville Notch on Tuesday to vote in a 2008 presidential primary.

With the first votes counted, Barack Obama was a favourite with seven votes from Dixville Democrats, while rival Hillary Clinton got no votes, according to media reports.

John McCain got four votes, followed by former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney with two and former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani with one.

For the rest of the state, most polls open at 6 am, with the last one closing at 8pm.
