Dubai: Four new bus routes, covering a number of areas in Dubai, will be launched in April, announced the Public Transport Agency of the Roads and Transport Authority on Thursday.

The service, aimed at meeting the increasing public transport needs, with more that 100 buses, will cover Deira City Centre to the Zoo in Jumeira, Academic City till Al Nahda area, Al Warqaa to the Green Community and the International City till the Mall of the Emirates.

Eisa Abdul Rahman Al Dawsary, CEO of the Public Transport Agency, said: "The agency is committed to developing its services in line with the urban expansion and population growth witnessed by the UAE in general and Dubai in particular."
