Jaipur: A militant group called the Indian Mujahideen has claimed responsibility for the attack on the western Indian city of Jaipur that killed at least 61 people and injured 216 people this week, police said.
National media broadcast a video clip, sent from the group via email, showing what looks like a bomb strapped on the back of a bicycle.
The video showed a serial number of one of the bicycles, reports said.
Police are currently investigating the authenticity of the video and the claim.
The group said in the email that it was targetting the tourism industry and has threatened more attacks.
On Wednesday evening, a sketch of a man in his mid-20s suspected of being involved in the bombings was also released.
The man was seen near the scene and spoke Bengali, witnesses who helped police prepare the sketch said.
Curfew has been reimposed as the city reels from Tuesday night's attack.
