Dubai: Emirates will have more than 450 aircraft in its fleet by 2020 and is scheduled to receive 22 planes this year, Emirates Airline and Group Chairman and Chief Executive Shaikh Ahmad Bin Saeed Al Maktoum said on Tuesday.

One of the fastest growing airlines in the world, Emirates expects to grow its fleet size from 115 planes now to 200 by 2012.

Shaikh Ahmad said Dubai's strategic geographical location has helped the airline in its rapid expansion.
