Muscat: Oman Air said on Saturday that it will start flights to India's Kozhikode from June 5 and expand its routes to four other countries this year.
"Kozhikode, previously known as Calicut, will be Oman Air's 26th destination ... Our next Indian destination will be Bangalore in July," Usama Al Haremi, head of corporate communications, told Reuters.
He added that Oman Air would also expand its routes to Sanaa, Frankfurt, Damascus and Kuala Lumpur in the third quarter of 2008.
