Dubai: Kuwait- and Dubai-based airline Jazeera Airways celebrated its three-millionth passenger in its third year by launching a massive one million seat sale - with fares starting as low as Dh33.
The one million seat sale is running already and will be available to passengers booking online on www.jazeeraairways.com on Thursday until midnight.
The celebration sale is available on almost all routes that the airline flies, and can be used for travel between November 27 and March 31 2009 to destinations including Alexandria, Beirut, Cyprus and newly launched Doha and Khartoum.
"Welcoming on board our three-millionth passenger is another huge milestone for us, and what better way to commemorate this achievement than by celebrating with all of our passengers, without whom we would not have reached this point in three short years!" Jazeera Airways chairman and CEO Marwan Boodai said.
"We are looking forward to welcoming returning and new passengers alike to enjoy this offer, giving our next million passengers the freedom to fly."
Jazeera Airways currently operates a fleet of eight new Airbus A320s from its two hubs in Kuwait and Dubai.
Each aircraft is fitted with the airline's signature leather seating, while the Jazeera Plus (J+) cabin offers business travellers the highest standards of comfort, relaxation and a range of in flight amenities.
The airline flies to destinations in the Middle East, North Africa, Europe, Iran, and the Indian subcontinent.
