Dubai: A European investor has purchased 11,000 square feet of commercial space on the 94th floor of Burj Dubai, the world's tallest skyscraper, for Dh44 million ($12 million) through an online sales platform, a statement said.
Burj Dubai has already scaled to 158 floors and is still powering ahead. Developers Emaar Properties recently said, they have completed 50 per cent of the cladding works.
Eqarat.com, the Dubai-based real estate sales agent, on Friday said it has sold the "highest office floor in the world" for Dh44 million. The space was bought by a European investor.
"Purchasing property in Dubai has become a simplified process; however intense competition among property developers and high profile investors who are always on the lookout for the most profitable developments in this rapidly developing emirate, has presented customers with difficulties in acquiring their ideal properties," said Ali Al Rahma, CEO of the online portal.
