Dubai: Bin Salem Holding, an Abu Dhabi-based conglomerate, said it will roll out a Dh650 million luxury hotel in the capital.
Salem Bin Mohammad Bin Salem Al Daheri, chairman of Bin Salem Holding along with Singapore Minister of State for Trade and Industry, Li Yi Shyan, on Wednesday led the ground-breaking ceremony of the Grand Corniche Hotel in Abu Dhabi.
Surbana is the architectural and consulting firm for the project owned by Bin Salem. The project's management contract has been awarded to Jacobs International Holdings.
The 35-storey architectural landmark will house an array of luxurious offerings such as a five-star hotel with 308 rooms, 125 suites, 140 furnished serviced apartments, boutique retail podium, business centre, a spa and health club, swimming pool and restaurants.
The project estimated to cost Dh650 million is scheduled to be completed by end-2009. It spans over 4,800 square-metres and will have four basements.
