Dubai: JMS plans to unveil the Dh1.5 billion Sharjah Jewel - a luxury hotel and commercial tower at the Al Mamzar Lagoon in Sharjah.
Randa Kamal, chief executive of JMS, said, "Combining outstanding and unique architecture with the highest standards of construction and fittings, Sharjah Jewel will be a landmark development in the emirate."
The tower's location - on the pristine beaches of the Al Mamzar Lagoon - will heighten the sense of luxury for anyone staying or working there, as well as afford access to much of Sharjah and Dubai.
The unique 'hanging' form of the Sharjah Jewel will rise up dramatically over ground plus 55 floors.
The top eleven floors of Sharjah Jewel will exclusively comprise furnished residences, connected directly to the hotel, with access to the office tower.
Floors below contain office space that is sure to become some of the most sought-after in the UAE, thanks to magnificent views of Al Mamzar Lagoon and the Sharjah skyline.
Kamal added, "JMS is delighted to be working once again with our most trusted partner, B+H architects. The stunning chiselled glass facets and innovative 'hanging' form of the design fully captures the spirit of Sharjah Jewel and reflects our desire to provide the very highest levels of quality and luxury to all users of our flagship development." Work on the 14,576 square metre site of Sharjah Jewel is scheduled to begin in the first quarter of 2009. The pro-completion of the project is due 30 months after construction begins.
