Dubai: Meydan has announced that it will for the first time participate at Cityscape Shanghai, scheduled to take place from June 25th-27th at the New Shanghai Expo Centre.

Meydan will present a paper through its master-planner and architect, Mr Teo Ah Khing, who will highlight the making of a world-class 60,000 capacity grandstand along with other landmark features.

The Meydan flagship products, including the Racecourse, Business Park, City and Godolphin River City, will be among of the main attractions at the state-of-the-art Shanghai centre.

The Cityscape Shanghai exhibition will also provide an ideal environment to further raise awareness of the brand and attract potential investors.

Mr. Saeed H Al -Tayer, Chairman of Meydan, said,  “Plans are underway to make this one of the best ever displays of Meydan’s evolving project and Cityscape Shanghai will be a perfect platform, being one of Asia’s key real estate events".

“Shanghai has over recent years become one of the leading hubs of east Asia, attracting major investors and real estate stakeholders.”

The Meydan delegation will be led by Mr Al Khayat, Commercial Director of Meydan and the CEO of Dubai Racing Club, Mr Frank Gabriel Jr.

The landmark horseracing mixed-use development is moving at an incredible pace ahead of the official opening for the Dubai World Cup in March 2010.
