Dubai: Gulf Craft will be launching five new boat models at the Dubai International Boat Show on Tuesday.
Targeting different segments in the market with three brands under the umbrella, Gulf Craft is adding two new luxury yachts, the majesty 77 and 121, silver craft 37, and the latest in their product line, the sport cruisers Oryx 40 fly and 46 fly.
"Global economic trends such as a weak dollar and strong Euro have enabled Gulf Craft to increase its market share internationally," said Mohammad Hussain Al Shaali, chairman of the company.
The majesty yachts are super yachts that have a high demand in the market as well as the Oryx line to young and trendy customers.
"There is an increasing demand for style and tremendous interest in the 100 ft yachts," said Erwin Bamps, executive manager of the company.
However, there are potential challenges facing the industry. "Inflation is a big threat to the industry," said Al Shaali.
