Dubai: One of the world's leading logistics companies has launched a global climate protection programme. Deutsche Post World Net, the parent company of DHL Express, is seeking 30 per cent improvement in CO2 efficiency by 2020.
The initiative, entitled GoGreen, aims to reduce the company's carbon footprint for every letter mailed,container shipped and square metre of warehouse space used.
Frank Appel, Chairman and Chief Executive of Deutsche Post World Net, says the programme will help them get environment friendly clients.
