Abu Dhabi: Weathermen predict foggy weather this Sunday and Monday morning in most parts of the country, especially on the West Coast and in internal areas.
The fog will clear and there will be fair and mild conditions during the day but it will be relatively cold during the night, said a National Centre for Meteorology and Seismology (NCMS) spokesperson in Abu Dhabi.
"It will be very cold at night in internal and mountainous areas."
Fresh winds
Moderate westerly and north westerly winds are expected in general. Winds may be fresh at times during the day over the West Coast and the sea.
Relative humidity will increase over some coastal and internal areas this morning. Mist may appear in northern and eastern areas in the morning.
Conditions at sea in the Arabian Gulf will be moderate with a wave height of one to three foot onshore and three to five foot offshore. In the Gulf of Oman there will be a wave height of one to two foot onshore and two to three foot offshore.
The lowest minimum temperature of 11C was recorded in Abu Dhabi and Ras Al Khaimah yesterday morning. Sharjah and Umm Al Quwain recorded 12C. Dubai, Ajman and Fujairah recorded 14C, 13C and 18C respectively.
The highest maximum temperature of 26C was recorded in Fujairah yesterday morning. Ras Al Khaimah, Sharjah and Umm Al Quwain recorded 25C. Dubai and Ajman recorded 24C.
The highest relative humidity of 95 per cent was recorded in Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and Ras Al Khaimah yesterday morning. The lowest relative humidity of 35 per cent was in Fujairah.
