Al Ain: His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, will attend the graduation ceremony of 27th batch of the UAE University on Tuesday.
Held under the patronage of President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the ceremony will see the graduation of 2,848 students. Her Highness Shaikha Fatima Bint Mubarak, Chairwoman of the UAE General Women’s Union will attend a ceremony organised for women graduates of the same batch on May 7.
The UAE University was established by the late Shaikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan in 1976 to fuel the socio-economic growth of the country. Drawing on the far-reaching vision of Shaikh Khalifa, the UAE University is now at par with internationally renowned centres of learning in the world.
