Dubai: The Mohammed Bin Rashid Program for Leadership Development (MBRPLD), has announced that it will organise an educational trip to Paris, France, and Seattle, US, for members of its Young Leaders Programme, throughout June 2008.
Held under the theme “Dubai Opening,” the visit will enlighten participants on the experiences, challenges and strategic plans of select international cities; and how these compare with the UAE Federal Government’s own initiatives.
The tour will include discussions with leaders of international companies and organisations and is part of MBRPLD’s efforts to develop the leadership skills and personalities of young Emiratis.
The study visits fall under the MBRPLD Young Leaders Programme’s training series on the management of global cities.
The delegates will first attend a “Dubai Opening” symposium in Fontainebleau, France before heading to Seattle.
Adel Al Shared, MBRPLD Director and Executive Council Director of National's Development, said, “We are pleased to organise this unique educational visit, which will expose our young leaders to the various experiences of global cities and the organisations and companies operating within them.”
