Egypt: President Hosni Mubarak of Egypt received in Cairo on Thursday Abdul Aziz Abdullah Al Ghurair, speaker of the UAE Federal National Council and discussed with him bilateral relations.
Following the meeting, Al Ghurair said he conveyed to Mubarak the greetings of President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan and His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.
Al Ghurair, who is visiting Egypt to attend meetings of the OIC parliamentary union, described UAE relations with Egypt as "excellent." He said that the UAE had become the largest investor in Egypt, thanks to incentives offered by the Egyptian government.
