Abu Dhabi: Work is in progress to integrate the UAE national identity card with the ministries of labour and health, which will enable card holders to use it for e-signature service for companies, labour card, health card and health insurance, said a senior official.
Darwish Al Zarouni, Director General of Emirates Identity Authority (EIDA), said the identity card has already been integrated with the Ministry of Interior.
He was speaking at the first day of Citizen ID Forum, a two day-international summit on ID Programmes organised by Wise Media under the patronage of the Ministry of Interior and endorsed by EIDA, Abu Dhabi Police and European Commission.
