Sharjah: Salesmen employed in car showrooms in Sharjah will be issued with special identification cards next week.
This decision was made by the Uniform Committee comprising of the Economic Development Department, the Labour office, the Sharjah Police and the Sharjah Department of Naturalisation and Residency Department.
This aims to help residents who are being hassled by salesmen to visit their showrooms.
Fahad Al Shuhail, Director of Consumer Protection Directorate at the Sharjah Municipality said that any salesman found violating the rules will be punished.
