Dubai: His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, received Jeffrey Kindler, Chief Executive of Pfizer and discussed with him the activities of one of the world's leading pharmaceutical companies.
Kindler, who described Dubai as a very lively and stable city, was highly impressed with the city's level of commercial and financial activities.
He said Pfizer has selected Dubai to host its regional office for the Middle East and North Africa and praised the government for the excellent facilities and incentives, which have strengthened Dubai's position as an international financial and investment centre.
Present at the meeting were Shaikh Maktoum Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai Deputy Ruler, Shaikh Mayed Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Board Chairman of the Culture and Arts Authority, Mohammad Bin Abdullah Al Gergawi, Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs, Reem Ebrahim Al Hashemi, Minister of State, Sultan Ahmad Bin Sulayem, Executive Chairman of Dubai Ports, Customs and Free Zone Corporation, and a number of officials.
