Abu Dhabi: President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan on Sunday received Sudanese First Vice-President and President of the South Sudan Government, General Salva Kiir Mayardit, who is currently visiting the country.
They discussed cooperation between the two countries, particularly in the economic, commercial and investment fields, as well as means of boosting cooperation in the best interests of the UAE and Sudanese people.
Present were General Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, and other ministers, shaikhs and top officials.
Meanwhile, Shaikh Khalifa on Sunday received speaker of the Algerian National Council (Majlis Al Ummah) Abdul Qadir Bin Saleh.
Shaikh Khalifa welcomed the visiting dignitary, who conveyed greetings from Algerian President Abdulaziz Bouteflika and his hopes for the continued growth of bilateral relations between UAE and Algeria. See also Page 10
