Al Ain: President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan on Sunday offered his heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims of the tragic car accident in Al Ain.
He prayed to Allah Almighty to bestow his mercy upon the deceased and grant their families patience and solace to bear the loss.
Shaikh Khalifa also wished the injured a swift recovery.
Shaikh Khalifa's condolences were conveyed to the families of the victims by a delegation from the Ministry of Presidential Affairs, comprising Salim Hamid Al Ka'abi, Saeed Khalifa Al Muraikhi and Ahmad Saeed Bin Brook.
The families of the victims expressed gratitude to the President for his sympathy and condolences.
In line with Shaikh Khalifa's instructions, the delegation also visited the injured at Tawam Hospital.
Lieutenant General Shaikh Saif Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Interior Minister, on Sunday offered his heartfelt condolences to Ahmad Bin Rahma Al Shamsi and his family on the tragic death of his son Mohammad, who was among the 12 victims of the car accident in Al Ain.
He prayed to Allah Almighty to bestow his mercy upon the deceased and grant his family patience and solace to bear the loss.
Members of the Al Shamsi family expressed thanks to Shaikh Saif for his sympathy and condolences.
Twelve people were killed in the car accident on the Al Wagan-Al Ain highway. Ten of the deceased were from the Al Dorou Tribe.
