Dubai: About 2,300 affordable houses for UAE nationals will be built in four communities in Dubai by the Mohammad Bin Rashid Housing Establishment over the next four years said a senior establishment official on Wednesday.
The housing project is in line with the directions of His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, to create more affordable housing projects for UAE nationals.
In this regard, the Mohammad Bin Rashid Housing Establishment (MBRHE) signed a memorandum of understanding with Arab Tech Construction yesterday. The construction of these housing projects which is worth Dh3.64 billion will begin with immediate effect.
Engineer Rashid Mohammad Al Mutawa, the MBRHE executive director said the projects will be released to the tenants and occupiers upon completion.

The value of each house varies from Dh1.7 to Dh2 million depending on the total square footage and location of the property. The average plot of land is 9,000 square metres.
