Astana: President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan held talks with Kazakhstan President Nursultan Nazarbayev at the presidential palace in Astana.
Nazarbayev welcomed Shaikh Khalifa and the delegation accompanying him, in the first state visit to Kazakhstan. "We know your feelings towards Kazakhstan. Because of these noble feelings the relations between the two countries grew rapidly in all fields."
Shaikh Khalifa thanked Nazarbayev and said: "When we visit Kazakhstan we feel to be in our second country."
He was impressed by the development taking place in Kazakhstan under the wise leadership of Nazarbayev. "There is qualitative progress in areas of construction, economy and tourism; such rapid growth opens before us huge opportunities in different fields," Shaikh Khalifa said, calling for expertise, experience and visit exchange between the two countries.
