Abu Dhabi: General Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, on Monday chaired the council's regular meeting.
A number of memorandums and topics were discussed at the meeting.
The council discussed a number of topics and memorandums by different departments and took appropriate decisions regarding them.
The new budget for Al Ain park and spa which is a part of Al Ain Zoo and Aquarium was approved.
Road projects
The council also approved the general project's memo concerning the contract for Mafraq- Guwaifat road at Al Ruwais, and the Khalifa City (B) roads, in addition to completing the first phase of contract no. 1/943.
The council also approved the financial proposals submitted from Al Aqariya House and Al Qudra Holding for the development of Shubat Al Wotah and Shiaab Al Ashkhar in Al Ain and another project.
The council also approved to study endorsement of Al Fowa budget for 2008. It approved the budget of the Civil Services Department for 2008 and 2009, as recommended by Abu Dhabi Finance Department.
