Dubai: The first Gulf Film Festival on Friday announced that 146 films will be screened at the festival and that 90 per cent of them are world premieres.

The festival will present top three prizes in features, shorts and documentary in the main competition, and shorts and documentaries in the Students' Competition. There will be a Special Jury Prize in both categories and a separate script competition for Emirati short films.
