Dubai: A wife is seeking divorce from her husband who allegedly asked her to act out with him bizarre sex scenes of indecent movies which he forces her to watch.
The Arab couple, who are in their 20s, were married a few months ago in a northern emirate.
The wife alleges that her husband is "sick and addicted to watching pornographic or romantic movies", sources told Gulf News on Tuesday.
She claims that he constantly asks her to join him in the bedroom where he fixed a DVD player in front of the bed and makes her watch the indecent films. Then he asks her to act the 'scenes' with him, added the sources.
Initially the wife, who is a public sector employee, went along with her husband thinking that it would be something temporary.
Later the husband's desires grew wilder and he started asking the wife to perform "bizarre sex scenes", said the sources who are very close to the case.
The wife decided to divorce her husband and she is currently seeking separation before the Sharia court in the emirate where they live.
Sharia court officials are expected to issue a verdict in the case unless the wife waives her claim.
