Fujairah: The Fujairah Traffic Court has fined two expatriates a total of Dh11,000 for driving without a valid licence and causing damage to other vehicles.

An Indian national was arrested in April after the car he was driving crashed into two others on Shaikh Zayed Road in Fujairah.

Police discovered the Indian did not have a driving licence and that he was driving without the owner’s permission.

A Chinese woman was also arrested on the same charges of driving without a license and without the owner’s permission after the car she was driving hit a parked car on Hamad Bin Abdullah Street.

Both cases were admitted before Fujairah’s Traffic Court by the Fujairah Public Prosecution.

The court found the two guilty of the charges against them and fined each one Dh5,000 for driving without a valid driving licence, Dh200 for driving a car without the owner’s permission and Dh300 for causing damage to other cars.
