Dubai: In the light of the recent events in Gaza Strip, the American University of Dubai yesterday organised a peaceful protest to express their stand against the atrocities committed against their compatriots.
Saleem Abu Sultan, Consul General of the State of Palestine, was present during the protest held at the American University of Dubai (AUD) campus along with Ghada from the Palestine Children's Relief Fund (PCRF) testifying to the tragic events in her home country.

Ghada narrated her survival as she was part of the group of children who recently received special medical attention and compliments from His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.
"We meet today in support of the Palestinian people. From this rostrum I would like to appeal in the name of all Palestinian expatriates to the international community, especially to the United Nations, to lift the siege on our people and our brothers in Gaza, to stop the massacres of innocent children, women and men, in the name of humanity. I appeal to all Palestinians, Hamas and Fatah partisans alike, we are all one people, let us all unite for an independent Palestine," said Ameen Al Hajj, vice-president of the Palestinian Culture Club at AUD.
