Abu Dhabi: The Abu Dhabi National Exhibitions Centre (ADNEC) will be transformed into a unique family leisure venue for eight weeks in the summer of 2008 as it hosts 'Summer in Abu Dhabi', the UAE capital's largest and most prestigious family festival taking place from June 26 to August 18.
Jointly organised by the Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority and ADNEC and supported by etisalat, the Abu Dhabi Authority for Culture and Heritage and Capital Centre, the 13,000 sq m air-conditioned 'Summer in Abu Dhabi' indoor venue will consist of seven themed Adventure, Action, Creativity, Fun, Imagination, Culture and Discovery Islands, and will treat visitors to the very best in family entertainment.
Shaikh Sultan Bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Chairman of ADTA and ADNEC, said, "This is a new and exciting concept for the UAE capital."
