Abu Dhabi: Al Ain police has launched a pedestrian safety campaign to create awareness among road users.
The campaign will concentrate on streets, schools, shopping malls, hospitals and government offices to cover maximum areas.
Leaflets will be distributed to the motorists and all the road users in different languages to cover different communities and create awareness among all the segments about the importance of pedestrian safety.
All traffic sections, community police and public relations departments will coordinate the campaign.
Al Ain police have called upon the people to comply with the traffic safety regulations.
