Professionals seeking positions to suit their strengths and interests should make a beeline for NAJAH Education Training Careers, an exhibition providing job seekers with vital resources and opportunities to connect with businesses looking for quality personnel.
The exhibition takes place at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre from October 19 to 21. This year's exhibition features the expanded jobs.abudhabi.ae Careers Advice Lounge, which comes at a crucial time for professionals and businesses.
"The current global economic market is in a state of transition and while the region's financial institutions have thus far been largely unaffected, the UAE and Gulf region will not be immune to the ills in a potential global economic recession," said Christine Weaver, exhibitions director at IIR Middle East, the organisers of the event.
Under the patronage of Shaikh Nahyan Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and supported by the Abu Dhabi Education Council and the Ministry of Education, NAJAH's careers advice lounge will feature personal career counselling with qualified professionals, while there will be a separate area featuring interactive seminars to discuss available employment opportunities.
"Career building is one of the exhibition's main focuses. At the jobs.abudhabi.ae Careers Advice Lounge, career counsellors will help job seekers identify particular strengths and skills, and how to direct those skills towards ideal career fields and directions. Professionals will also be able to interact firsthand with companies looking to hire, and get feedback on secure employment opportunities," Weaver said.
