Amman: A Jordanian man stabbed a German tourist here on Friday, leaving the victim wounded but in stable condition after the attack, police officials said.
Authorities arrested the attacker and transferred the German man to a nearby hospital, where he underwent surgery, said Maj. Mohammad Al Khatib.
The 63-year-old German tourist was walking with his wife near Al Hussaini mosque in Amman when a 34-year-old Jordanian man attacked him, said a second police official.
