Abu Dhabi: The Al Ghurair Exchange bowling team came up with a strong performance, outplaying Lobo's 4-1, in the Abu Dhabi Filipino Bowling Club (ADFBC)-Western Union 3rd Inter-Commercial Bowling League, sponsored by Western Union and Mr 300 Bowling Equipment and Trading.
Al Ghurair Exchange, newcomers in the league and one of the favourites for the title, were led by 300-club member Gerald Ringor, who consistently showed his strong semi-hook ball, topped the score card with 590 pinfalls and was supported by teammates Ely Viray, with 557, team captain Manny Inserto, with 555, veteran Ben Papa, with 464, and reliable lady bowler Clarisse Corpuz, with 453.
The Bowler-of-the-Week trophy was won by Saeed Hamarain, playing for Strikers, with 713, followed by Nido dela Cruz with 255.
