Dubai: "We will get Harbhajan Singh cleared of the obnoxious and baseless accusation, said Niranjan Shah, the Secretary of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).

"We have authorised our President to take all possible steps at his command and deploy all human and material resources available to get Harbhajan cleared," said Shah immediately after the BCCI's working committee meeting.

Shah also said that the BCCI meeting took note of all relevant circumstances and developments and has decided that the Indian tour to Australia should continue for the present."ICC has told us that Harbhajan can play till final disposal.

This is only an interim arrangement. BCCI is of the categorical view that the matter will have to be finally resolved and the unfair allegation against an Indian player be withdrawn. We thank the efforts of the President, the positive role played by Cricket Australia and President and CEO of the ICC," he said.
