Al Ain: Cambridge International School, Dubai scored a six-wicket win over Al Ain English Speaking School in the first Klear Inter School Twenty20 tournament being held at the Al Ain Sportplex.
Al Ain English Speaking scored 106 for 8 wickets through Azeem Ansari's 41 and Nilesh Bhargav's 27.
Cambridge School reached the target with Mehtab Ali top scoring with 21 runs.
In Umm Al Quwain, Ram of Sharjah Eagles and Vinu of Sevenseas Computers helped their teams record victories in the third KCC Invitation tournament.
Struggled
Ram's 57-ball 112 saw Sharjah Eagles defeat WS Atkins by 94 runs while Vinu's 109 from 59 deliveries saw Sevenseas computers trounce TXT XI by 162 runs.
Sharjah Eagles batted first and piled up 251 for the loss of five wickets as Ram hit 10 boundaries and six sixes during his century. Harvesh chipped in with 40 runs.
WS Atkins struggled to reach 151 for 8 in the allotted overs.
Only Gopi (53) and Reddy (34) offered some resistance as Ram picked up three wickets for the Eagles. Opener Vinu and Faisal put on a 98-run for the first wicket as Sevenseas Computers amassed 264 for 5 in 23 overs.
Vinu's 109 revolved around 12 fours and five sixes and required 59 balls. Faisal contributed 64.
