New Delhi: The lucrative Indian Premier League (IPL) has added Australian all-rounder James Hopes and Pakistan batsman Misbah-ul Haq to the list of top players being auctioned off.

14 players have signed up to take part in a second 'auction' for the lucrative Indian Premier League (IPL) yesterday.

The first England player to join IPL is Dmitri Masceranhas with a bid of $100,000, double the basic price set for the second and final phase of bidding for the Twenty20 league which was held in Mumbai.

Last month's auction did not have any England players.

In the initial multi-million dollar auction 75 cricketers, including many household names, were picked by eight franchises.
