Abu Dhabi: Centuries from Asim Ijaz, Zaheer Baig and Waseem Shoukat were the highlights of the Abu Dhabi Duty Free division-two cricket tournament held at the council grounds in Abu Dhabi.
Asim hit an entertaining 129 not out as UAE Exchange Centre put Al Shamel to the sword with a 208-run win.
Dropped twice., the batsman belted 15 fours and three sixes, after opener Atif Ijaz (86) and Ehsan Shah (50) had set the platform with a 120-run stand for the second wicket.
Opener Zaheer Baig stroked 102 not out to power Nissan Al Masaood to a convincing nine-wicket triumph over Bin Moosa Daly, and Waseem Shoukat made 100 not out in Gamco's 77-run victory over Dhabi Defenders.
Meanwhile Bin Jamal Cars beat Seven Stars by 121 runs after posting 219 runs in 25 overs. Nazar Hussain hit 75 and Shaheryar Farooq hit 57.
Al Dar beat Etihad Airways by five wickets, while Electro Cooling Centre beat Khyber by 104 runs.
Al Marjan Herbs beat United Bank Limited by 51 runs and William Hare Abu Dhabi Gymkhana beat Al Fahim by eight wickets.
Atlas Telecom beat Babcock by nine wickets and Al Muhairi beat NPCC.
