Abu Dhabi: The UAE junior team gathered yesterday in Dubai to start their internal training camp, supervised by Bernard Schaum, prior to leaving to Singapore to take part in the International Friendly Football Tournament there from March 8-16.
The UAE will play in Group A, which includes: Singapore A, Australia and China, while Group B features Uzbekistan, Thailand, Vietnam and Singapore B.
Coach Badr Saleh, has selected 18 players - Harith Saeed Abdul Aziz, Mohammad Yousuf Khalaf, Khalifa Mohammad Saleh, Sultan Adel Salem, Saif Rashid, Hamad Ali Al Merri, Mohammad Salem Al Daheri, Hamad Ali Rafie, Younus Ahmad Abdullah, Naif Salem, Salem Jasem, Mubarak Abdullah, Amer Omar Abdullah, Salem Saleh, Khalid Jalal, Ebrahim Saeed Muftah, Mohammad Hassan Khamis and Bilal Ebrahim Ahmad.
