Dubai: The UAE national football team leave for Damascus today to meet Syria in the World Cup Group E qualifying clash at the Al Abasyeen stadium on Wednesday.
The UAE held their final training session at the Al Nasr stadium with all 23 players taking part under the watchful eye of French coach Bruno Metsu.
Metsu left injured Haydar Allo Ali behind but he has kept faith with new players Faris Juma and Obaid Tawila. Also in the squad are Esmail Mattar, Majid Naser, Bashir Saeed, Sibait Khater and Faisal Khalil.
