Dubai: The UAE national B football team drew goalless with Al Nasr in a warm-up match held at the Al Maktoum stadium on Tuesday.
The match was a good preparation for both teams - Al Nasr will resume league matches on Monday, while the B team also have some future commitments.
The UAE coach, Bernard Schum, fielded 18 players whom he had selected for the B team. In the first half, he played with Goalkeeper Ali Khasif, Eisa Ahmad, Mussalam Faiz, Mahmoud Qasim, Abdullah Mussa in defence, Abdullah Al Noubi, Mohammad Khamis, Mohammad Osman, Ebrahim Abdullah in midfield and Abdullah Eisa and Naser Khamis as strikers.
In the second half, he brought in Abdullah Al Kuthairi, Mubarak Hasan, Talal Hamad, Saeed Al Kuthairi, Fawzi Faiz, and reserve goalkeeper Yousuf Abdul Rahman.
Ali Khasif, the UAE custodian, had a good match, making several saves against Al Nasr strikers.
The referee flashed the red card at Al Nasr player Adnan Hussain for a rough tackle on Fawzi Faiz.
