Abu Dhabi: Ladislau Boloni, the Al Jazira head coach, believes that if his players succeed in adapting to the pressure of the last two league matches, they will increase their chances of winning the league title.

Al Jazira, second in the standings just three points behind the leaders, will face Al Dhafrah in a crucial match in their history.

"In our last match against Al Shaab, we scored an early goal but the rhythm of the team's performance became slow and the players retreated to defend their lead. They suffered from the pressure of winning the title," Boloni said.

Performance

Meanwhile, Ayman Al Ramadi the head coach of Al Dhafrah, said "We are under no pressure. We have already achieved our goal of collecting 25 points and secured our place in the first division but we will do our best in the match because we don't want to lose our last two games."

Saleh Obaid, the Al Jazira international left wing back, said, "We did not show our best against Al Shaab but we achieved our goal and won the three points. At this stage winning is more important than performances and if we have to continue in our quest for the title, we have to win our last two matches against Al Dhafrah and Al Shabab bearing in mind that if we drop points against Al Dhafrah then there is no need to win the other match. I realise that the players of Al Dhafrah are in high morale following their victory over Al Wasl in their last match which secured their place in the first division but we still have the motive to win to continue in our campaign to win the title," Obaid added.
