Dubai: Al Nasr's Executive Bureau (EB) chaired by Mohammad Abdul Karim Jalfar, board deputy chairman, decided in its last meeting to hold external training camps for the senior basketball, handball and volleyball teams to prepare for the coming tournaments.

The EB decided to hold the volleyball team's training camp in Kuwait and will be hosted by Al Qadsia club from March 13 to 20.

They will then take part in the GCC Volleyball Championships in Bahrain from March 23 to 29.

The Al Nasr volleyball team signed with Qatar national team and Al Arabi club player Juma Faraj who is one of the best smashers in the GCC countries.

He will play with Algerian Hesham Ghamady who signed with Al Nasr at the beginning of the current season. The GCC tournaments regulations allows each club to sign two foreign players.

League matches

One of them must be from the GCC countries.

During their stay in Kuwait, Al Nasr will play three warm-up matches against Al Qadsia, Kuwait club and Qazma, before leaving to Bahrain for the GCC Championships. The EB also decided to hold a training camp for the basketball team in Casablanca in Morocco from April 12 to 21.

They will take part in an international tournament to be held during the team's stay in Morocco.

After that they leave to Jordan to participate in the Arab Clubs Championships in Amman from April 22 to May 5.

The EB decided to hold a training camp for the handball team in Bahrain from March 13 to 22, in preparation for the coming domestic league matches.
