Dubai: Sun Classique owners Lionel Cohen and W. Rippon are contemplating continuing a fantastic script by entering their horse in Hong Kong before taking her across to the United Kingdom.
"She is such a special horse that she deserves to be there at the big ones elsewhere," owner Cohen told Gulf News.
"She is a great thoroughbred and that's her speciality. She is so amazing that I feel honoured to be here tonight," added the Australian.
Trainer Mike de Kock was not far off the mark too.
"She is unbelievable. She just had to keep going and we have always believed in her abilities," de Kock said.
The trainer remarked that there was a handful of horses capable of winning the race.
"There was Doctor Dino, Quijano, Oracle West and Viva Pataca who were all in the same line. But ultimately she has proved that she is a little better than this lot," de Kock declared.
"She couldn't have written the script better."
More to offer
The South African further noted that the filly did not like being pushed about during the race.
"She likes to take her time, and once she gets out she flies off and there is no stopping her then," he said.
"There is a lot more to come from her, and she deserves every bit of it."
The trainer endorsed the owners' plans to travel in the near future, starting with Hong Kong.
"We South Africans are always known for our ability to log on the air miles. I've always wanted him to run in Hong Kong and then we will head on to the UK and then even Chicago," de Kock said.
