Dubai: The various UAE National motorsport championships are entering the final phase where titles are on the verge of being decided.
In all the classes, the battle for top honours is tight and this weekend's events at the Dubai Autodrome will be decisive in the final outcome of the respective championships.
In the Gulf Radical Cup, the title-chase has turned into a two-way battle between Bassam Kronfli (Team Evo Middle East) and the Bahrain Team 777 drivers Fahad Al Musalem and Shaikh Salman Bin Rashid Al Khalifa.
Series cocoordinator Barry Hope said: "The position at the top is very close between Bassam Kronfli and Team 777. Both parties are desperate to win it.
"Interestingly, this is a two-man driver series, and Team 777 have Al Musalem back in the car as Shaikh Al Khalifa is back in the UK for the start of British F3 testing."
