Who is Haifa's habibi?

Lebanese artist Haifa Wehbe has revealed the reason for the title of her new CD, Habibi Ana (My Darling). Apparently the beautiful star has a secret sweetheart.

In an interview she said that her relationship with her mystery man needs time to evolve. "Everybody wants to settle down with the appropriate person to build a future. Love makes you see things differently. It gives you wings and takes you places.”

The star said that her notoriety should not scare a man who has confidence in himself and a strong personality. "I want the man I love to consider me a normal human being, not a star. I want to be loved for the person I am.”

Wehbe chose a new production company called Alam Al Fan to launch the CD after unsuccessful talks with the production company Melody.

In the meantime, Haifa has been living it up at the Cannes Film Festival.

Sirine wakes up in morgue

Lebanese artist Sirine Abdelnour lost consciousness in a morgue in Alexandria, Egypt, while filming scenes from the movie Al Moussafer (The Traveller).

Abdelnour, who plays the role of a woman who recognises her brother's body in a morgue, collapsed after filming among cadavers for seven consecutive hours.

Because of the incident, movie director Ahmad Maher stopped the shooting temporarily. Abdelnour went out, got some fresh air and felt better.

Maher has already edited the third part of the movie, which should be launched in Cairo within two months.
