London: British police on Thursday conducted a third post-mortem on the body of teenager Scarlett Keeling, who was found raped and murdered on a beach in Goa.

"The aim is to establish identity and cause of death to satisfy the coroner. We have also appointed a family liaison officer to support Scarlett's family if they wish it," Detective Inspector Dave Atkinson said.

Police will not carry out criminal investigation into Scarlett's death. Scarlett's body was brought back to Britain by her mother Fiona McKeown, who is battling Goan authorities over her daughter's murder.
